The tour begins with an early departure from your hotel or meeting point, offering comfortable and safe transportation accompanied by a guide. Upon arrival, you will take a moderate hike of approximately 3 hours along a trail surrounded by lush tropical rainforest. During the hike, you will observe the stunning local biodiversity. The highlight of the tour is the Río Celeste, famous for its intense sky-blue color. This natural phenomenon occurs due to a chemical reaction between volcanic minerals and the water.
Throughout the tour, you will visit:
- A spectacular waterfall surrounded by vegetation.
- The spot where two rivers meet, causing the phenomenon that gives the water its blue color.
- Small hot springs and areas where hot volcanic mud emerges from the earth.
- A stop with panoramic views of Tenorio Volcano and the surrounding jungle.
